Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami is the latest movie full of emotions and comedy which the remake of the English movie and novel 21 guns salute. Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami is directed by Ravindra Gautam and Produced by Anurradha Prasad, Abhinav Shukla and Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia, Divyendu Sharma, Mannu Rishi, Aditi Sharma are the main leads of this movie.

Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami Moviev Story:

Subhash (Divyendu) and Suresh (Manu) are the sons of Purushotam Narayan Joshi (Anupam) who is a BMC employee. Joshi strongly believes in leading his life with respect and dignity and he hates people who are corrupt. Being a common man, he fails to earn any appreciation from the society and dies of regret. However, his ultimate dream was to receive a 21 gun salute at his funeral.

His two sons will be set out to fulfill their father’s wishes and dreams which he saw all his life but couldn’t bring his dreams into reality. Hence, his sons will do this for their father which will be the ultimate sign of respect. Purshotam Joshi (Anupam Kher) father of Subhash and Shekhar Joshi will fail to earn his dreams while working for the government of India honestly all through his life.

Advantages:

Since the filmmakers of this film did not really engage in many promotional activities, not much was expected out of this low-profile film. But to everyone’s pleasant surprise, ‘Ekkees Toppon Ki Salami’ is a rather well made film as the director has chosen a fresh and unique concept by taking into consideration the often – targeted BMC department of Mumbai. Because the makers have considered the problems of a common man, the viewers will be able to connect with the story easily.

Disadvantages:

Even after playing such strong characters in her previous ventures, we wonder what Neha Dhupia was thinking about while signing up for such a sidey role. Her character is not only unwanted, but also irritating and a hindrance in such a strong story.Another negative of the film is its extended duration and a few unwanted portions including the drainage part which could have been easily deleted.
