Do you know that Abhishek Bachchan, who is often trolled on social media and makes headlines for different reasons other than movies, holds the Guinness World Record in his name? Yes,  Junior Bachchan has made a Guinness World record for “Most Public Appearances Made By A Film Star In 12 Hours”.

Abhishek made this record by visiting seven places while promoting his movie “Delhi-6” in 2009 in theatres of 7 cities – Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh and Mumbai – in just 12 hours. The actor rushed from one city to another and travelled 1,800 km by car and a private jet in his attempt to get the feedback of audiences in different cinema halls. Sonam Kapoor, who played the female lead in the movie, joined Abhishek at his final location, Mumbai.

Earlier, this record was in the name of Hollywood actor Will Smith who attended three media events in 24 hrs while promoting his movie “I, Robot”. Abhishek broke the record by managing to pack in seven different venues in just 12 hours.
