The second merit list for the First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) Mumbai and Pune are going to be declared today i.e; 4th July 2016. The FYJC Second Merit list for the Pune declared at 4 PM and FYJC Mumbai at 5 PM. Candidates who had not allotted the seat in the first merit list can check the second allotment list from the direct link provided below. However, there will be third i.e; final merit list which will be declared on 11th July 2016.

FYJC Second Merit List 2016 For Mumbai & Pune:

The admission to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) in Mumbai & Pune are being facilitated through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), which is an automated and online process. The seats are allotted to students on the basis of their percentage/ marks obtained in the board exams and also on the basis of category/quota rules. Earlier, the first allotment/merit list is declared on 27th June and the admission process has been completed on last Thursday.

FYJC Mumbai & Pune Second Merit List 2016:

Now, candidates can check the FYJC Second Merit List for Mumbai & Pune today. About 1,84,977 seats were allotted in the first round of merit for FYJC Mumbai region against 2,22,622 applications. Around  47 thousand students had got the seat of their first preference with over 22 thousand and 16 thousand getting the seat of their second and third preference.

In the first round in FYJC Pune against the 82,106 applications received and 52,626 were allotted. However, by the end of the first phase, less than 31 thousand confirmed their admissions and about 10 thousand did not report at the centers. Out of the total seats allotted, 18,169 students had got the college of their first preference and 17,535 got the college of their second to the fifth choice.

Candidates who got the seat through second merit list should confirm their admission by paying the fee of Rs 50 and reporting to centers on 5th, 7th and 8th July between 10 am to 3 pm.
