The First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) Mumbai third i.e; final merit list will be out today i.e; 12th July 2016 at 5 PM. Earlier, the merit list to be declared on 11th July, but the change in schedule was notified at the official site of FYJC Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Candidates of Mumbai region who had allotted the seats in third merit list should secure admissions by paying Rs 50 in the allotted college. The admission to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) in Mumbai & Pune are being facilitated through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), which is an automated and online process. The seats are allotted to students on the basis of their percentage/ marks obtained in the board exams and also on the basis of category/quota rules. Earlier, the first and second allotment/merit list declared in the month of June 2016.

FYJC Mumbai & Pune Final Merit List 2016:

Now, candidates can check the FYJC third merit list 2016 for Mumbai region today at 5 PM. In the first round, a total of 1,84,977 seats were allotted against over 2.2 lakh registrations. FYJC Third Merit List for Pune will declare on 13th July and the academic session starts from 18th July 2016.

Assistant director of education, Meenakshi Raut, Pune said, “A total of 15,563 seats were allotted in all the three streams in the second round, of which 24 students rejected the admissions, while another 310 students canceled them.” She further added that a total of 6,240 students did not report to their respective allotted colleges and hence they are now out of the centralized admission process (CAP).
