UP TGT/ PGT Recruitment 2016:

U.P. Act No.5 of 1982 as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature an Act to establish Secondary Education (Service Selection Boards) Act, 1982 for the selection of teachers in institutions recognised under the Intermediate Education Act, 1921. It conducts various examinations for the recruitment of eligible candidates in various departments. This year it has released notification for TGT PGT posts and the candidates who are interested can apply for the recruitment by checking the eligibility criteria from the article.

Educational Qualification:

Aspirants applying for TGT should possess a graduate degree in the related subject and be armed with a B. Ed/BTC or any other Teacher Training Certificate. Whereas, candidates interested in the PGT posts need to be Post Graduates in the relevant subject.

Unreserved (General) & OBC: Rs.625 (Rs.600 + Rs.25 (Online processing fee)

SC Category: Rs. 375 (Rs. 350 + Rs. 25(Online processing fee)

ST Category: Rs.175 (150 + Rs. 25(Online processing fee)

Age Limit:

Candidates should have 21 years as on the 1st July 2016.
