JEE Mains Paper Analysis: Errors In Pen & Paper Based Exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) pen and paper based test on 3rd April 2016 for both Paper I & Paper II. A large number of candidates who are looking for the admissions into Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions applied and appeared for the examination.

JEE Main 2016 3rd April Exam Analysis Errors:
JEE (Main) is being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education at Centres in 129 cities in India and abroad. About 12 lakh students have appeared for Paper – 1 and Paper – 2 off-line mode.
Overall, the difficulty level for paper was moderate. Since most of the students found the examination of moderate difficulty level, they are expecting a good overall score.
A number of students found paper 1 (BE/BTech) of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains lengthy in Jaipur on Sunday, while in Patna many applicants said that the paper was easy.
As compared to last year, there was ambiguity and couple of errors in Chemistry. In few questions, the data provided was not sufficient for students to get the final answer. In Physics, there were two questions which had more than one correct answer, leaving students in a dilemma whether to leave it or attempt it.
Some tricky questions:
Few questions in Physics are tricky and challenging but compared to last year this section is shade tough. Further Q. 84 (Set F) has two answers. One or two questions in Chemistry are tricky prima-facie. Compared to last year it is difficult. Q 17 (Ser F) appears to have no matching answer in choices given. Mathematics compared to last year is shade tough with few questions lengthy.
Top 2 lakh candidates of JEE Main will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced on May 23 to fight for one of 10,000 seats in the prestigious IIT’s / ISM Dhanbad.
Nine states– Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Gujarat, Maharashtra, M.P., Odisha, Punjab and Rajasthan — also accept JEE Main ranks to fill seats through their own seat allocation process.

32 NIT’s,18 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIT) and 19 central government, state government funded institutes will be represented using JEE Main ranks.

Note: From April 18, 2016 to April 22, 2016 Display of Answer Key and OMR sheets will be available. JEE Main 2016 Results (Scores) will be available from April 27, 2016. On or before June 30, 2016 All India Ranks will be declared.
