The opening ceremony of the season nine of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 officially kicked off on Friday at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in the presence of eight captains, tournament chairman and BCCI secretary in Mumbai. The ceremony has also witnessed a host of Bollywood and international stars performing, including Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Yo Yo Honey Singh.

The most amazing moment was when Ranveer, Katrina, Jacqueline, Honey Singh and West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo aka DJ Bravo were seen dancing together for ‘Champion’ song. The pick of the event would be Katrina fully enjoying and showcasing her belly dancing to DJ Bravo.

This year the opening ceremony of IPL has been the next level. Katrina Kaif dancing on Afghani Jalebi, Ranveer Singh doing his victory dance to Jacqueline shaking her legs on ”Sooraj Dooba Hai” and West Indies cricketer DJ Bravo’s epic performance on ”Champion” were the highlights of the IPL Opening Ceremony.

West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo’s Champion song is now an anthem for cricket fans. West Indies started their ICC World T20 2016 campaign with this song and they celebrated their triumph with this song at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
