After Fan, everybody will look up to Hindi films in the terms of what we can go with visual effects and make-up. Nobody had done anything like this before. The transformation is revealed in a 15 minute video released by Yash Raj Films. The combination of prosthetics and make-up created by Cannom, an Oscar winner and VFX is the first time in the world that technology had been used in a film, according to the director Maneesh Sharma.
Cannom says, “I was shocked to see Shah Rukh working in young make-up for 70 days. Usually with make-ups like this it is 15 to 20 days. When I saw the first clip I was shocked at how good it looked. I was pretty amazed at how well it worked.”
