Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited trademark 150th film will finally be going on floors. The makers of Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie made an official announcement about its launch date. The reports suggest that the movie’s pooja ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Hyderabad on 29th April, which will be attended by bigwigs of the Telugu film industry.
This film has been in the pipeline for two years now and it’s finally going on floors.Actor-turned-politician, Chiranjeevi had declared that he would be part of the Telugu remake of Vijay’s blockbuster Tamil film ‘Kaththi’ but no official launch date had been announced.
The actor wanted to start the film after June, but since there are no auspicious days in the next few months, he fixed the date for April, sources said. “Once the film is officially launched, there is no need to wait for an auspicious day to start the shoot. Chiranjeevi took the decision after consulting a few pundits, the source added.
The movie will be directed by V.V. Vinayak and produced by Chiru’s son Ram Charan. For the female lead, actors Kajal Agarwal and Anushka are being considered. Reports of Nayanthara playing the female lead were doing the rounds for a while now but the actress has ended all speculations, clarifying, “I am not doing any film with Chiranjeevi!”
The makers are expected to make an official announcement on the details of movie’s cast and crew and the shooting soon.
