Mohammad Azharuddin Is Angry On The Film-makers Of ‘Azhar’, Check Out The Reason
‘Azhar’ is an upcoming Bollywood film which is a biopic of the former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin is all set to release on 13th May. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Nargis Fakhri and Prachi Desai in lead roles. Tony D’Souza is the director of the film. According to the latest news, it is said that Azharuddin isn’t pleased with the makers of the film.
The reason for his disappointment is that the filmmakers have portrayed many other aspects of his life that he didn’t want to. Sources say that Azharuddin had shared some information about his personal life with the makers, off the record. But the makers turned incorporated the same scenes in the movie.
Azharuddin didn’t want this episode to be shown on screen. He feels that this episode of his life would open up the past problems. Hence, Azharuddin didn’t hesitate to ask the makers to remove the bits from the movie. But the makers are quite keen and are forcing the cricketer to keep the part which would give a big score for the film.
Tony D’Souza, the director said that they are in talks with Azharuddin regarding this aspect. Basically, ‘Azhar’ is the narration of his professional as well as personal life. The movie also portrays the incident when the player was stuck in a controversy of match fixing. In real life, Azharuddin had overcome these allegations and has come out clean.
