Staff Selection Commission (SSC) one of the premier recruiting commission of the nation which has invited applications from the eligible Indian candidates for  62390 posts of constable (GD) in as Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Assam Rifles (AR) and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) has published an official notice regarding the constable exam occurrence. SSC Announces Official Date for Constables GD Exam to be Conducted in Offline Mode  

Good news for the aspiring candidates of the constable government jobs in armed forces such as BSF, CISF, CAPF, AR and ITBP. The recruiting commission for constable (GD) in BSF, CISF, CAPF, AR and ITBP armed forces Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the exam date against these vacancies as 4th October 2015. SSC is going to recruit about 62390 posts of constable (GD) in as Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Assam Rifles (AR) and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).

Mode of Selection of Candidates for SSC Constables GD Exam

All the candidates and constable aspiring candidates applied in  large numbers against the vacancies available in armed forces such as BSF, CISF, CAPF, AR, and ITBP. Official reports have been disclosing there is the steep increase in the number  of aspirants this year compared to yesteryears.

SSC recruitment drive for the constable GD exam would be held without any partiality and selection of candidates would he held at three different stages. A candidate who had applied for the SSC constable 62390 posts of constable (GD) BSF, CISF, CAPF, AR, and ITBP need successfully qualify all the three stages on merit basis which would declare them eligible for the available  vacant posts.

Three stages of SSC recruitment drive for the constable for BSF, CISF, CAPF, AR and ITBP armed forces are namely the Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination. While against the said vacancies this year SSC has successfully conducted the PET/PST in May/June at centers determined by the Commission in consultation with the CAPFs.

All the successful candidates who have qualified the SSC PST/PET examination are gearing up for the main exam for Constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles on 4th October 2015. SSC in an official notice issued dated on 29 September, 2015, under the secretary said that due to administrative reasons the Commission has decided that the examination to be held on 04.10.2015 will only be in off-line mode (OMR based) for all the candidates irrespective of the option exercised by them in their application form.
