The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has successfully conducted the online CWE examination for the recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country on September 5, 2015. This time, 56 banks are participating in it. Large number of candidates has applied for the exam in the month of July and appeared for the exam today. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a central government organization that is authorized to conduct the examinations for Probationary Officer, Clerical Cadre and Specialist Officer Vacancies in Banking Sector. Every year, IBPS holds the recruitment process by conducting Common Written Examination (CWE). Recently, IBPS has released the notification of CWE for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and successfully conducted the online exam on September 5, 2015.
IBPS CWE IV RRB 2015 Exam Analysis:
The pattern of the test was as follows:
The written exam is of objective type with multiple choice questions (MCQ) for both Officer Scale I and Office Assistant Post. The question paper is divided into five sections – Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Numeric Ability, English Language/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. Each segment has 40 questions each of 1 mark. There were 200 questions in the paper, which had to be answered in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The questions of all the sections were available in both English and Hindi languages except the fourth section, where in a candidate had to attempt either on English or Hindi Language. Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the questions for all the sections. IBPS RRBs Selection Process will be made on the basis of merit in CWE-RRBs-IV online exam and Interview.
