Karnataka State Government conducted Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2015 for taking admissions into Post Graduate courses like MCA, M.Tech, MBA etc into various colleges based on the ranks.
All the interested and eligible candidates applied and appeared for the examination which was held on 8th and 9th August 2015. Karnataka PGCET 2015 examination was held at various centers in Karnataka. Recently Karnataka Education authority release the official answer key. Now, all the candidates are eagerly waiting for the PGCET 2015 Result. Here is the good news, Karnataka PGCET results will be declared on 18th August 2015 after 2 PM. Aspirants can check the results from the official website after the declaration of results.

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Results:

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admission to MBA program in management institutes in Karnataka. The degree is offered in regular as well as part time mode and graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply. Quantitative Analysis, Reasoning, English language, General Knowledge and General Intelligence. The Candidates having completed their graduation of 3 year (minimum) duration can apply and write the PGCET. The qualification must be obtained from a recognized University/college with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Those belonging to SC/ST category need to have a minimum percentage of 45% only. This year PGCET 2015 examination was held on 9th August 2015 and the results will be declared on 18th August 2015 after 2 PM.

Assignment of Ranks:

• GATE Candidates: Merit in respect of GATE candidates will be determined on the basis of valid GATE score. The rank number for GATE candidates will be assigned from 1 to the last candidate in GATE in ascending order.
• Merit in respect of all other candidates, will be determined on the basis of marks secured by them in the PGCET-2015. The rank number for PGCET-2015 M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch candidates will be assigned from 2001 to the last candidate in ascending order, which means rank number 2001 will be the first rank candidate among non-GATE M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch. candidates
• Document verification for eligible PGCET-2015 applicants will be held as per the following schedule. Candidates need to bring their original documents for verification in any of KEA’s 13 Helpline centers detailed in KEA Website kea.kar.nic.in.
• Non-Karnataka Candidates, GATE Qualified Candidates; Sponsored Quota Candidates, QIP Candidates, Part Time Quota candidates should attend the documents verification in Bangalore center only as per their ranks. Verification of documents will be done at once for all the disciplines to which the candidate is eligible.
• If a candidate has got multiple ranks, then he / she can come to the Helpline Center on the scheduled date as per his / her highest rank in any discipline, and need not come again for other ranks in other disciplines. All other guidelines and procedures given in the PGCET-2015 e-brochure remain same for all other purposes.
• The candidates who have qualified Karnataka PGCET 2015 are required to bring all necessary original documents (along with one set of attested photocopies) in support of their claim when they come for verification without fail on the notified date.

Note:

If the candidate fails to produce any of the original documents / certificates / marks card on the day of verification, such candidate’s documents will not be verified and they will not be considered for eligibility to exercise their options.
