Erra Bus is an upcoming 2014 Tollywood movie which is directed and produced by veteran actor and director Dasari Narayana Rao under his banner Tharaka Prabhu Films. The movie will feature Vishnu Manchu and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. Dasari Narayana Rao plays a crucial role in the movie. Chakri has composed the music for the movie while Anji has taken care of the cinematography. The movie is a remake of N. Ragavan’s Tamil film, Manjapai (2014). The principal photography of Erra Bus started on July 28, 2014 in Hyderabad.

Dasari Narayana Rao:

Dasari Narayana Rao (born 4 May 1944, Palakol, West Godavari), is an Indian film director known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, and few Bollywood films. He has directed about 150 films, produced 53 films and worked in more than 250 films as a dialogue writer, and lyricist. He has received two National Film Awards, nine state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. During his career he has also acted in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.

He holds Limca World Record for directing the most number of films. He directed films like Tandra Paparayudu, (1986), Surigaadu (1992), premiered at International Film Festival of India in the panorama section

Manchu Vishnu:

Manchu Vishnu born 23 November 1981 is an Indian actor, director, producer in the South Indian Film Industry. He is also the CEO of MBC (Mohan Babu Corporation), 24 Frames Factory and the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust. Hw won the Filmfare award for the Best Male Debut. His 2007 film Dhee, was one of the most successful Telugu films of that year. The actor also sponsors the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) team, Telugu Warriors and was a minority stake holder in the Indian Cricket League (ICL)

Catherine Tresa:

Catherine was born to Malayali Roman catholic parents Frank Mario Alexander and Tresa Alexander in Kottayam, Kerala who had later settled down in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She said, “I don’t speak fluent Malayalam, it’s mostly English that we speak at home. I speak decent Hindi though and now I’m taking lessons in Telugu”.

She did her Grade Twelve in Dubai and moved to Bangalore for higher education. She studied for two years in St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore.
