Skype Lets you Save Video Messages

You can even tap on the video message or a recording and save it to their device’s photo gallery. It’s a convenient feature that many users have requested in the past. This new feature on Skype provides the best way to hang on to video voicemails from loved ones or those with important details needed later. Skype has recently partnered with the on-demand entertainment platform of Eros International and launched custom Mojis for Skype users.

Skype for Android Brings More Refinements

The latest update for Android has brought a lot of refinements that are much handy for all the users. There are several such refinements that include a quick way to clean up conversations on the app’s Recents tab. A long-press on a conversation is a new feature that brings up a toolbar with buttons to delete the conversation, mark all the messages sent by that person as read, or completely mute notifications if desired.

In a blog post, the company announced that it is also improving the overall search functionality in the app, allowing users search for content from their previous conversations, as well as contacts and group names. Skype’s new update for Android will also allow users to share their photos which can be easily picked from the photo gallery and share it to a Skype group conversation. Earlier, it was not possible to share photos in a group this way. Now it has made available to all its users.

The company also said that  it has upgraded Mojis in version 6.11 that allows users to forward it to another friend or to a group just by simply tapping and clicking on the forward button. Skype has already rolled out its latest Android version, and you can download the app with all these features from Google Play if you haven’t yet. There is no word from Microsoft on when the video message sharing option will come to the iOS app.
