Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) successfully conducted Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) 2015 examination for admissions into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy ), Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) for the academic year 2015 – 2016. A large number of candidates applied and appeared for the examination which was conducted at various centers. The result of PGECET was also declared and now all the candidates are waiting for the counselling dates, web option entry and Seat enrollment. The following are the details regarding the helpline centers and certificate verification dates for various ranks.

AP PGECET 2015 Counselling Schedule:

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts various examinations for admissions into undergraduate and graduate programs into various colleges. This year APSCHE has released notification for PGECET 2015 and invited applications from all the interested and eligible candidates who are looking for the admissions into PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy ), Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate).

JNTU Kakinada conducted PGECET 2015 examination at various centers in Andhra Pradesh. All the applied candidates have written the examination. The results were also declared and now aspirants are looking for the counselling schedule. for details like counselling dates, documents required etc. read the below article.

The GATE qualified and eligible candidates of 2014 and 2015, GPAT and PGECET qualified and eligible candidates of 2015 are informed to attend PGEC/PGECET web counselling for admission into ME/M.Tech/M.Pharmacy courses for the academic year 2015-16 as per the schedule given below at any one of the Help Line Centers.

• Candidates are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed in the related G.O. besides satisfying the eligibility criteria of the respective universities and should be prepared to pay the tuition fee as applicable.
• The left over seats after allotment for GATE / GPAT Candidates are alone available for PGECET candidates.
• This notification itself is a call for counseling.
• No separate call letters are sent to the individual candidates.
• Mere attending counseling does not guarantee a seat.

Processing Fee:

Candidates have to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs.450/- SC/ST candidates and Rs.900/- for others at the time of certificate verification.

Counselling Schedule for PGEC-2015 (GATE-2014/2015 & GPAT-2015):

The candidates who have qualified in GATE/GPAT examination are eligible for the counselling process.

Certificate Verification: 25th August 2015 from 9 AM.

Exercising Web Options: 28th and 29th August 2015.

The following are the helpline centers for NCC/CAP/Sports/PH candidates where they should attend the certificate verification

Certificates to be submitted by Special category:

PH Category:

Candidates have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and only candidates who have disability of 40% and above are eligible.

CAP Category:

Ex-Service Personnel have to produce

1. Service Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer
2. Identity Card
3. Discharge Book for verification

Serving persons have to produce Service Certificates from the place of work indicating the relationship with the Candidate. Only candidates whose parents are domicile of Telangana /AP are eligible to considered under “CAP” Category.

NCC Category:

Candidates have to produce concerned certificates along with A, B, C Certificate(s).

Certificates to be submitted:

The following original Certificates are to be produced and one set of xerox copies of the same are to be submitted at the time of verification.

• GATE Score / GPAT / PGECET Rank Card & PGECET Hall Ticket.
• PC/Degree Certificate & Memorandum of marks of qualifying Examination.
• Memo of SSC or its equivalent
• Study certificates from 10th class to Graduation
• Residence certificate for preceding 7 years from the qualifying examination i.e., Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education( Aadhar card/ House hold card)
• Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
  Residence Certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P/Telangana excluding the period of their employment outside A.P/Telangana from M.R.O. in case of candidates who studied outside the state of AP/Telangana
• Transfer Certificate
• Income Certificate/house hold card (white)
