This is announced by the Women and Child Welfare Peethala Sujatha in a press conference. Andhra Pradesh is one of the few States in the Country, where a separate Department in the Secretariat is functioning to look after the Welfare of Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens. After the bifurcation of the state, it is the first notification for Anganwadi Posts which is going to release by AP government soon. Andhra Pradesh minister Peethala Sujatha announced on Wednesday at Vijayawada to media that there are 11,375 vacant posts in Anganwadi and the notification and the recruitment will be done soon. She also said that the recruitment will be held in a transparent manner without any malpractices, ICDS Project Directors would be responsible for the irregularities in the recruitment process. “Irregularities in the recruitment process will result in a stern action” she added.
