All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test, for the academic session 2015-16. This entrance test is being conducted for the 15% merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directives of the Supreme Court and will be governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India from time to time. For the academic year 2015 the AIPMT examination is conducted twice as as per the supreme court orders. The examination was conducted on July 25, 2015.  More than 4 lakh students were appeared for this re-test examination which was held at 1,065 centres in 50 cities throughout the country and abroad. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS and participating States/Universities/Institutions. The counselling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS and the Counselling for admission in seats under the control of other participating States/Universities/Institutions shall be conducted by their respective Authorities.

As per the analysis of CBSE AIPMT re-test 2015, Physics paper was toughest for AIPMT Re-test 2015 aspirants. Chemistry paper and Biology paper was of average difficulty. There were 45 questions from each section of Physics, Chemistry and 90 from Biology (Botany and Zoology). The minimum cut off marks for qualifying the AIPMT 2015 re-test entrance exam is 50 % for general, and 40% Reserved Category (OBC, SC & ST) category candidates. The counselling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS the retest was conducted at 29 AIPMT centres in Chandigarh, including Sacred Heart School, DAV Model School, Shishu Niketan and Carmel Convent. Now all the candidates are eagerly waiting for the result. CBSE is going to release AIPMT 2015 re-test examination results today i.e., August 17th 2015.
