The Himachal Pradesh board has conducted the HP Medical exam 2015 for the admission of students in Himachal Pradesh Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges. The Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) is soon going to be release the Himachal Pradesh Medical 2015 Merit List on 25th August 2015 at its official website www.hpuniv.in. Himachal Pradesh University will declare the admission merit list of Himachal Pradesh Medical exam (MBBS BDS 2015) based on the candidate’s result in AIPMT 2015. The Merit List will consist of applicant’s name, AIPMT 2015 Roll number, state rank, category and total marks obtained in AIPMT 2015 exam. After the release of Merit List, candidates will be called for counseling procedure. Candidates who score the qualifying marks as prescribed by the Himachal Pradesh University will only be eligible to attend for the counseling. Himachal Pradesh Medical 2015 Merit List:

The Himachal Pradesh University was founded on July 22, 1970 which is located at Shimla. Himachal Pradesh University is the only multi-faculty and affiliating University in the state. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), exam conducting authority will declare a separate merit list for Himachal Pradesh Medical 2015 admissions to MBBS and BDS programme in the medical and dental colleges in Himachal Pradesh on August 25, 2015. On the merit list, the University will assign new ranks to the candidates for admission to MBBS & BDS courses in Government Medical & Dental Colleges including private unaided Dental Colleges to fill up 85% and 50% seats respectively under State Quota and 35% Management Quota seats in private unaided Dental Colleges.

After declaration of HP Medical 2015 Merit List, the qualified candidates will be called for the counseling according to their rank in merit list. The applicants will be considered in order of merit drawn by the HP University. The counseling for Himachal Pradesh Medical Admission 2015 will be conducted by the University on behalf of the State Government (Department of Medical Education & Research) through the Counseling Committee.
