Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education was set up in 1969 and has its headquarters in Dharamshala. There are more than 8000 schools which are affiliated with the Board. The Board sets up 1650 examination centres for over 500,000 examinees every year. Panchayat Assistant recruitment exam consists of two phases’ written test and personal interview. The written examination is conducted for 85 marks. The board will place the qualified candidates after taking into account the marks of personal interview.

The Himachal Pradesh Panchayat sahayak has recently released a recruitment notification for the posts of Panchayat Sahayak  to fill available 280 vacancies. A large number of aspiring candidates have applied for the posts. The recruitment exam was successfully conducted on 14th June 2015 at various centere.
