Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET):

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) is a Governmental Board of School Education. The Headquarters of the board is located at Bhiwani, Haryana, India. It is responsible for promotion and development of secondary education in state. Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8.

It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET. Solved question papers and the Examination Pattern of HTET:

HTET has three level of examination for various teacher posts. The following are the three level of examinations. Primary Teacher (Level-1): This examination is conducted for those who want teacher job in Haryana government school from class I to V. Trained Graduate Teacher (Level-2): This examination is conducted for the teacher jobs from class VI to VII in Haryana Government schools. Post Graduate Teacher: This is level-3 examination and is conducted for the aspirants who are looking for the lecturer (PGT) posts in Haryana state government.

Examination Pattern:

This is the written examination consist of Multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam is one and half hour with 150 questions. Level-1: Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Language I ( Hindi) – 30 Marks Language II (English) – 30 Marks Mathematics – 30 Marks Environmental Studies – 30 Marks Level- 2: Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Language I ( English) – 30 Marks Language II ( Hindi/ Punjabi/ Urdu/ Sanskrit – Choose any one) – 30 Marks Mathematics and Science : 60 Marks ( For Mathematics and Science Teacher) Social Studies : 60 Marks ( For Social Teacher) Home Science/ Physical Education Teacher – 60 Marks Level- 3: Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Language I ( Hindi) – 30 Marks Language II (English) – 30 Marks Specific Subject – 60 Marks.

Haryana TET (HTET) 2015 Previous Model Question Papers

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, also known as HTET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is conducted to find eligibility of the candidates for teacher posts like PGT, TGT, PRT teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.
