Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous agency in India, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). IBPS conducts PO examinations every year. The Recruitment of Probationary Officers or Management Trainees is a three tier recruitment process consisting of a Preliminary exam of 100 marks of 60 minutes duration, followed by the main exam for shortlisted candidates, of 200 marks with a duration of 120 minutes followed by an Interview.
