Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test also called as Maha TET is conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in order to recruit the most eligible students as Government teachers for various posts and departments. A large number of candidates who are looking for the teacher jobs applied for these posts. The Maharashtra TET is scheduled in the month of December 2015. Maharastra TET Previous Year Question Papers:

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET. The test is conducted in order fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. This year Maharastra government released the notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates in teacher posts. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education invited online applications for filling up the vacancies in Teacher posts. The examination is scheduled on 27th December 2015 at various examination centers. Candidates who had applied can download the model papers from the link provided below.

Important Dates:

Download of Passes or Admit Cards: 14 of December to 27th of December 2015.
Paper I Examination (For Primary): 27th of December 2015 (10:30 AM to 01:00 PM)
Paper II Examination (For Upper Primary): 27th of December 2015 (02:00 PM to 04:30 PM)

Maharashtra TET Qualifying Marks:-

A person who scores 60 percent or more in MahaTET 2015 exam will be considered as TET pass.
A person belonging to SC, ST, VJ, NT, OBC, differently abled persons, who scores 55% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. The state government will award certificates to all TET passed candidates.

PAPER 01 for Classes I to V

Total number of marks:- 150 marks
Total number of questions:- 150
Time:- 2 hours and 30 minutes

  • Child Psychology and Teaching Methodology
  • Language- 02
  • Language- 03
  • Mathematics
  • Environment ScienceNumber of questions and marks in each section:- 30 marks

Paper 02 for Classes VI to VIII:

The paper-2 consists of 150 questions with 150 marks each question carrying one mark and the duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Language- 02
  • Language- 03
    (30 Questions and 30 Marks)
  1. Mathematics or Science
  2. Social Studies
    (60 questions and 60 marks)
