Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited is a Navaratna Government of India company under the administrative control of MOC which was established in 1956. It is one of the pioneers in the energy sector in India. With three opencast lignite mines at Neyveli and one open cast lignite mine at Barsingsar, Rajasthan it is one of the major players in lignite extraction in India. The corporation also owns three thermal power stations at Neyveli and one thermal power station at Barsingsar, Rajasthan. The power stations of NLC are ISO certified and are certified for quality management system and environmental management system. It releases the notification whenever there are vacancies in various departments. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For Mining:

• Degree in Mining Engineering (B.E / B.Tech/ B.Sc – 4 Yrs) from a recognized institute
• First Class Mine Manager Certificate of Competency under Coal Mine Regulations – 1957

For Computer:

Degree in Engineering in Computer Science / Computer Engineering /Technology

or

AMIE in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology

or

PG Degree in Computer Applications

For Finance:

Pass in final examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) / Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) (or) Degree in any discipline with MBA** of minimum 02 years duration with Specialization in Finance.

For Comapany Secretarial ( Place of initial posting: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh State):

• Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

• Preferable:

• Those possessing Degree in Law will have an added advantage.

For Legal: (Place of initial posting: Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu and Barsingsar, Rajasthan):

• Should possess a Bachelor of Law Degree (3 years or 5 years) from a recognized university;
• Should have enrolled as an Advocate with any State Bar Council in India;

Desirable:

• Those having Post Graduate Degree in Law with specialization in Commercial Laws/Contractual matters and Labour Laws; and
• Adequate knowledge on computer will have an added advantage

Official Language

Post Graduate Degree in Hindi from a recognized University with English as one of the subjects at Graduation Level; (or) Post Graduate Degree in English from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduation Level; and Should have passed Post Graduate Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University / Institution including Central Translation Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Government of India. Desirable – Working knowledge on computer, using Hindi Software. Knowledge in Tamil language (Read and write)

Medical:

MBBS and MD / DNB / MBBS and Diploma.

Pay Scale:

General Manager (E8):  Rs. 51300- 5%-73000/- per month. Dy. General Manager (E7):  Rs. 43200-3%-66000/- per month. Additional Chief Manager (E6):  Rs. 36600-3%-62000/- per month Dy. Chief Manager( E5):  Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- per month Manager (E 4):  Rs. 29100-3%-54500/- per month. Manager (Company Secratariat)(E4): Rs. 29100-3%-54500/- per month. Manager (Legal) (E4): Rs. 29100-3%-54500/- per month. Hindi Translator (Trainee) (W3): Rs. 10300-3%-28390/- per month. Selection of the candidates would be made based on their experience, merit, qualification, written test and personal interview round scores.
