SSC North Eastern Region Recruitment 2015:

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an GOVT OF INDIA organisation to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. SSC releases the notification every year to recruit the eligible candidates for various posts. This year it has released the notification for the North Eastern region for 96 vaccancies. Eligibility Criteria:

For Sub-Inspector(Fire):

Educational Qualification:

• A degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of a recognized University or equivalent

OR

• Matriculation or equivalent and three years diploma in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Chemical/ Mining/ Aeronautical/ Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent examination passed from a recognized University or Board or Institutions.
• Candidates will also have to undergo Physical Standard Test(PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination(DME) strictly in accordance with the guidelines issued by the MHA and found themselves qualified in these Tests/Examinations.

Age Limit: 18-30 years

Pay Scale: ₹. 9300/- to ₹.34800/-, Grade Pay ₹. 4200 /-

For Research Investigator (Forestry):

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operations Research or Forestry or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) or Mathematics (with Statistics) or Agriculture (with Statistics) or two years’ Post-Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from a recognized Institute/University.
• One years’ experience in collection or compilation or analysis of data including data in Agriculture or forestry work.

Age Limit: 18-30 years

Pay Scale: ₹. 9300/- to ₹.34800/-, Grade Pay ₹. 4200 /-

For Field – man:

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or equivalent examination passed.

Age Limit: 18- 28 years (Age relaxation is admissible as per Instructions)

Pay Scale: ₹. 5200/- to ₹.20200/-, Grade Pay ₹. 1900/-

For Duplicating Machine Operator:

Educational Qualification:

• Matriculation or equivalent examination passed
• Certificate on operating Duplicating Machine

For Senior Scientific Assistant:

Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree in Bacteriology or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Physiology or Chemistry of a recognised University or equivalent

Pay Scale:₹. 9300/- – ₹.34800/-, Grade Pay ₹. 4600 /-

For Market Intelligence Inspector (Economics):

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Commerce or Statistics with Economics as a subject from a recognized University

Age Limit: 18- 30 years (Age relaxation is admissible as per Instructions)

Pay Scale: ₹. 9300/- – ₹.34800/-, Grade Pay ₹. 4200 /-

For Senior Radio Technician:

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent
  OR
• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Communication or Radio Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent and
• 3 years’ experience in installation/maintenance of Electrical/Wireless equipment such as Wireless Transmitters, Receivers and Aerial Systems.

Pay Scale: ₹. 9300/- – ₹.34800/-, Grade Pay ₹. 4200 /-

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on educational qualification, academic records, percentage of marks & Interview/ Personality Test/ Skill Test.

Examination Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 50/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ ST/ PH (PWD)/ unemployed EXS candidates) through “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” or “SBI Net Banking/ Credit Cards/ Debit Cards” only. These stamps are available at counter of all Post Offices of the country. These Recruitment Fee stamps must be pasted on the application form.
