Telangana HMWSSB Recruitment 2015:

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) was established on 1 November 1989, in Hyderabad, India. It looks for the supply of water to the household and sewerage services of the city. It releases the notification whenever there are vacancies in various departments. This year it has released the notification for the recruitment of Town planning and Building Overseers and Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors. Eligibility Criteria:

For Town planning and Building Overseers:

Educational Qualification:

Must possess a minimum qualification of a Diploma inD.C.E./L.C.E./L.A.A., awarded by the State Board of Technical Education.
OR
Degree in B. Arch. Or B.E. / B.Tech(Civil) or B.Planning / B. Tech (Planning) from a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act, recognized by the University Grants Commission.
OR
Any other equivalent qualification to the qualification under (a) & (b) above as prescribed by the Government from time to time and shall  enunciate by the Government thereto.

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Scale of Pay: 22,460 – 66,330/-

For Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors:

Educational Qualification:

Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University as detailed below or
equivalent thereto, and Motor Driving License as specified in the relevant Service Rules, indented by the department, as on the Date of Notification.

• Must hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a Provincial Act or a State Act or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any equivalent qualification.
  OR
• Must hold a Diploma in Automobile Engineering issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, or Technological Diploma Examination Board, Hyderabad or Any other equivalent qualification

And

• Must hold a Motor Driving License and have experience in driving motor vehicles for a period of not less than 3 years and possess Heavy Transport vehicle endorsement.
• Provided that where persons with 3 years experience in driving motor vehicles are not available, persons with two years experience in driving motor vehicles may be appointed.
• Provided further that in case of Women, they must hold a Motor Vehicle driving license, if they are holder of Light Motor Vehicle Driving License only, they shall acquire the Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement within two years of their joining the service as Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector, failing which their services will be terminated without assigning any reasons.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:-

For Men: The Minimum height must not be less than 165 Cms. in height and must not be less than 86.3 Cms. round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5.00 Cms.

For Men (SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes): The minimum height must not be less than
160 Cms. and must not be less than 83.80 Cms. round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5.00 Cms.

For Women: The height shall not be less than 157.5 Cms. and must not be less than 82.30 Cms. round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum of expansion 5.00 Cms.

For Women (SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes): The Minimum height shall not be less than 152.5 Cms. and must not be less than 79.80 Cms. round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5.00 Cms

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years & Maximum 34 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Pay Scale: 31,460- 84,970/-

Application Fee for both Posts:

Each applicant must pay Rs. 100/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay RS. 80/- (RUPEES EIGHTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the following category of candidates is exempted from payment of Examination fee.

• SC, ST, BC & Ex-Service Men.
• Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years (They have to submit the declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).

Note:

BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of
Examination Fee and they are not entitled to claim any kind of reservation.
