Union Public Service Commission Successfully conducted the Civil Services preliminary examination in the month of August 2015. A large number of candidates applied and appeared for the exam in both morning and afternoon sessions at various examination centers across India. Candidates can check the results as UPSC declared civil services preliminary result in the official website. This year a total of 9, 45, 908 appeared for the exam and 15, 008 candidates have qualified in the Civils Prelims exam. We will update the official cutoff marks as soon as after the release. UPSC Civil Services Expected Cutoff 2015:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s central agency authorised to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Indian Forest Service examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, Combined Geoscientist and Geologist Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination. The examination is one of the toughest examinations in India. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check the results from the official website.

Check UPSC Civil Services Expected Cutoff 2015:

UPSC conducts civil services examination in three stages i.e; Preliminary exam, Main Exam and Personal Interview. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam are eligible for the Main exam and the interview. There are separate cut-offs for all the examinations for each category. UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam Expected Cut-Off 2015:

The examination  bifurcated into two parts i.e; Paper-1 (General Studies) and Paper-2 (CSAT) and conducted in both morning and afternoon sessions.  Candidates who have appeared for the exam, the marks secured in General Studies paper are very crucial, as these will be considered for ranking in the prelims, based on which candidates will appear for the Mains exam. However, CSAT is only qualifying in nature and one needs to only get 33 percent.

CSAT/Aptitude Test cut-off: 66 (70 approx.)

General Studies Cut-Off: 90 to 100
