UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Expected Cut Off 2015:
The Cut off marks helps the candidates in analyzing the exam and calculating their score. Civil Services prelims exam is one of the most sorted examinations which is conducted nationwide. This exam is considered to be one of the toughest exams in the world. Civil Services exam is conducted in two phases – the Preliminary examination, consisting of two objective-type papers (General Studies and Aptitude Test), and the Main examination, consisting of nine papers of conventional (essay) type followed by the Personality Test (Interview). Candidates with a degree (regular/correspondence/distance) from Central, state or deemed university or even from an open university are eligible to appear for this examination. The minimum qualifying marks for Paper 1 is 30. The minimum qualifying marks for Paper 2 is 70. The people who get qualified in the phase-1 will be qualified for the phase-2, which will be the mains.

UPSC Civil Services Exam Review 2015:
Preliminary examination, now popularly known as the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) intends to focus on analytical abilities and understanding rather than the ability to memorize. The exam pattern includes two papers (one on General studies and the other on Aptitude test) of two hours duration and 200 marks each. Both papers have multiple choice objective type questions.

This year, the prelims held on 22nd August, 2015. PAPER – I is the General studies which consists of topics like History, Art & Culture, Polity, Geography, Economy, Science & Technology, Ecology & Environment, Social Welfare schemes, and Current Affairs. The paper consists of 100 questions.
