Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), previously known as the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), is a public state university located in Kolkata, India. Founded in 2000 and funded initially by the Government of West Bengal, MAKAUT provides facilities for the pursuit of a degree and advanced-level courses in engineering, management and other professional areas through affiliated institutions and in-house departments. The university has been accorded affiliating university status and is currently functioning through an Advisory Committee constituted by the Chancellor under the advice of the Government of West Bengal, as required by the West Bengal University of Technology. Examination Pattern:

JEMAT II examination consists of 100 multiple choice questions with a duration of 2 hours. There will be a total of 3 sections and for every wrong answer one-fourth of the marks will be deducted. The questions are mainly based on general English, mathematics, and logical reasoning. Math and English sections contain 40 questions each. Logical reasoning section contains 20 questions.
