102 Not Out is an upcoming Bollywood Indian comedy-drama film directed by Umesh Shukla and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. By this, we get a chance to see Bachchan and Kapoor reunite on-screen after 27 years. They have been paired in many classic films such as Kabhie Kabhie (1976), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Naseeb (1981), Coolie (1983) and Ajooba (1991). the film is jointly produced by bushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.

A lot of buzzes created when it was publicized that Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are coming together, as then Rishi Kapoor had just publicly alleged Bachchan of never crediting his costars for his success but only his directors and writers. Even though this allegation was confirmed untrue, as sources show Bachchan writing about multiple costars in lengthy detail even before the accusation.

Coming to the film, it is based on the eponymous Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi. The film’s plot is based on a Gujarati Play by the same name. Amitabh Bachchan will play a 102-year-old man and Rishi Kapoor will play his 75-year-old son. The plot revolves around the 102-year-old man trying to break the record for the oldest person in the world, held in the movie by a Chinese Man. The film is planned for worldwide release on 4 May 2018.
