Mainly the films based on sportspersons are turned out to be blockbusters Starting with Bhag Milka Bhag, Meri Kom, MSD Untold Story and the latest 2000cr grosser Dangal. So it’s quite common that all the makers are behind the legendary sportspersons to make a biopic out of their inspiring life.

Not just makers but the actors are showing interest to actin biopics, Amir already worked in Dangal, SRK is coming with Rakesh Sharma biopic, Ranbhir literally lived the character of Sanjay Dutt in latest biopic Sanju directed by Raju Hirani, And there are rumors about Sushant to play the role of MSD once again in his biopic part 2. Now another veteran actor is coming up with a biopic. But this time it is not about a well-known celebrity or a sportsperson. It is about a coach.

The movie will be based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, Who served as India’s football team coach and manager between 1950-1963. Mostly unknown to the current generation, probably in that era as well. We all know football is not that fan favorite sport in India. Most of us are unaware of his name, his life, and his achievements. But something from his life has attracted the makers to film a biopic on his life story.
Now you must be wondering who is playing the role? It’s none other than Ajay Devgan. The actor is going to play the character of Syed Abdul Rahim in his latest movie under the direction of Amit Sharma, Who previously directed Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor. Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, and Fresh Lime Films came together to present this film. Shooting schedule and the release date is yet to confirm. Zee studios took on Twitter to announce this news.
