Akash Ambani’s getting married this year and here’s the bride-to-be!
Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambai is gearing up for the marriage this year, and here is everything that you need to know about his bride-to-be.
Akash Ambani is going to marry Shloka Mehta, the youngest daughter of dimantaire Russell Mehta, later this year, if the sources are to be believed.
It seems takes more time for an official confirmation on the announcement of the engagement since two families have refused to comment on the wedding. The announcement is expected to come in the next few weeks with the wedding being planned by the end of the year.
Akash Ambani is the eldest son of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Shloka Mehta is the daughter of Russell Mehta, the owner of Rosy Blue Diamonds.
Akash and Shloka were the classmates in Dhirubhai Ambani International School and both the families know each other.
A source close to the Ambani family said that no dates of either the engagement or the wedding have been finalized.
“As and when any good news is to be shared, the family will be delighted to share with everyone,” the source said.
The source has discounted the talks of 24 March as the engagement date and said that the wedding would take place in India.
Isha Ambani and Akash Ambani are the eldest of the three children of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Akash is on the board of Reliance Jio, group’s fast-growing telecom venture.
Shloka Mehta is the youngest of the three children of Russell and Mona Mehta. Mona is said to be the relative of fugitive diamond business man, Nirav Modi.
Shloka Mehta finished her schooling in the year 2009 and studied Anthropology at Princeton University and Masters in Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
Shloka is now a director on Rosy Blue Foundation since July 2014.
