Bollywood Star Amitabh Bachchan is one of the first Bollywood celebrities to react and share his views on Twitter regarding the latest news in the country. This time, he wanted to tweet about the Mumbai rains that shook the city.

He recently posted a series of tweets in his signature style during the Mumbai rains which shook the city, he got rained down hard upon. However, he has another habit that has irked Twitterati this time around that of posting his own pictures with each tweet, however unrelated.

Almost the whole nation is aware of the problems Mumbai had to face in the last two days. The whole city got flooded. The toll of loss of life and property is continuously rising. Where other celebrities were posting pictures of the places they were stuck in and busy cursing the government, Amitabh Bachchan called it just a natural disaster and compared the situation with what Texas is facing.

Amitabh Bachchan’s tweets are providing much needed comic relief in the face of incessant rain and flood situation in Mumbai. The superstar has been tweeting since Tuesday about the spirit of Mumbai, rising real estate prices and Visarjan chaos. But what makes his tweets rather hilarious is that each of them comes with a rather inappropriate picture of him.

When Amitabh posted a series of tweets on the heavy rains in Mumbai, fans were not too impressed with the insensitive nature of the tweets and the fact that he posted his pictures along with these. He even compared the rains with Hurricane Harvey.

In light of the flooding situation that stopped Mumbai, the 74-year-old posted on Twitter saying: “‘Mumbai real estate prices hit an all time high -Every building is now sea facing.’~ from Prasoon Pandey,” attached with a picture of him.
