The Way ‘Sivagami’ Called ‘Kattappa’ In This Chinese Version Of Baahubali Will Leave You In Splits

The journey began in 2015, the first installment of Baahubali, that literally shook the film fraternity in the whole country. Started as a regional movie, Baahubali didn’t live a stone unturned in impressing all classes of audiences. The movie has bounced back the valor and gallantness in Indian mythology.

Be it the cultural enigma or the sword fightings or something else, this magnum opus’ director SS Rajamouli has delivered his second best (as 2017’s Baahubali-2 might be his best). Soon right after the release, the movie became a grand success in India and it is later released in China.

In general, it is already believed that the collective vocabulary and story will be chewed away in translation, but the script and visuals of the movie didn’t let the movie lose its track, however, these things are beyond rescuing in the Mandarin version, in China.

Especially the scene in which Sivagami shouts out ‘Kattappa’ (Mandarin version) in order to secure the throne for the infant Bhallaladeva and Baahubali is quite amusing and will definitely leave you in splits.
