Deepika Padukone is the reigning Queen of the Bollywood industry. She was last seen in the movie Padmavat is Rani Padmavati and mesmerized the audience with her acting skills. Rumors have been stirring around for quite some time now that Ranveer and Deepika Padukone are getting married this year in a destination wedding.

Though there isn’t any official confirmation from both the parties sources reveal that marriage arrangements are going on at a fast pace.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s parents met recently at the actor’s house to discuss the marriage and were seen leaving together for dinner at Four Seasons, Worli. It is being heard that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone want a destination wedding but Ranveer Singh’s parents are keen on having an Indian wedding.

Later on, all of them agreed to a South Indian wedding in Mumbai which is followed by a reception. It is being heard that Ranveer and Deepika had already started searching for the venue in Mumbai.

Recent buzz is that the bride to be had already started her wedding trousseau preparations. She was seen shopping with mother, Ujwala Padukone and her sister, Anisha Padukone for her D-day in Bangalore. Deepika is currently on a break due to her backache and hence she is actively participating in her wedding preparations.

Deepika did not sign for any films apart from Vishal Bhardwaj’s untitled movie and hence she wants to get done with most of her wedding shopping while she is on the break.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone signed the Vishal Bhardwaj’s next movie which is based on Sapna Didi, a don in Mumbai. Deepika Padukone is playing the role of the don in this movie. The star cast also includes Irrfan Khan who is currently fighting with his neuroendocrine tumor.

Even Deepika Padukone is not in the best of her health, as she is suffering from a severe backache and the doctors advised her to take rest for at least three-four months and directors have postponed as both the lead actors are not well.

Ranveer Singh has signed Zoya Akhtar’s gully boy along with Alia Bhatt. He is also acting in the movie Simmba which is being directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar. Recently Rohit and Karan officially announced that Sara Ali Khan will be a part of the movie opposite Ranveer Singh as the lead actress. But we really wish that Deepika and Ranveer Singh announce their marriage date in an official statement.
