Deepika Padukone Used To Take Bath Again And Again After Every Shot During Padmaavat Shooting, Why?
After numerous protests and controversies, Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s magnum opus Padmaavat has finally hit the silver screen on January 25, 2018, and is doing well at the box office. Amidst controversies and threats, the audiences streamed into theatres across the country to watch the film.

Deepika Padukone had worked really hard to show the character of Rani Padmini lively. In an interview, the actress reveald shocking things related to the professional and also personal life.
When Deepika was asked her character and how hard she worked for the character. She replied, “while shooting, it was the time of high-end summers. We need to wear heavy traditional costumes and jewellery that made me really tedious and fed.” Deepika also revealed that, “during the retakes, I used to go into my vanity van and take bath and then return for the shoot and I did it many times.”
Have you ever thought about ‘what kind of a person she was before doing films?’
Deepika shared an incident of when she was 14-year-old. She said: “I was 14 or 16 years old and there’s this street called Brigade road in Bangalore which used to be very popular for weekend hangouts. I remember one evening my family and I were walking down the street.”
“We had probably finished eating at a restaurant. My sister and my father walked ahead and my mother and I were walking behind. And this man brushed past me. I could have, at that point, ignored, pretended like it didn’t happen.” But Deepika did something different.
“I turned back, followed this person, caught him by the collar in the middle of the street slapped him and walked away. From that day on my parents knew that I could take care of myself,” she added. In fact, the character of Rani Padmini also is a strong and powerful woman same as in real life of Deepika.
Deepika’s performance in Padmaavat has touched millions of hearts around the world. Along with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor also impressed the audience with their stellar performances. The movie has got an amazing response from critics and is well on its way to garnering over Rs 200 crores at the box-office.
