Disney Channel Actor Cameron Boyce Dies At 20

Cameron Boyce, known for his role as Carlos in Descendants, has passed away at 20. The Disney channel actor passed away on Saturday night, the news has been confirmed by his family members and A Disney Channel spokesperson

The cause of his death was due to an “ongoing medical condition.”

The spokesperson of Disney said, “From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing his extraordinary artistic talents with the world.”

The spokesperson added, “He was an incredibly talented performer, a remarkably caring and thoughtful person and, above all else, he was a loving and dedicated son, brother, grandson and friend. We offer our deepest condolences to his family, castmates and colleagues and join his many millions of fans in grieving his untimely passing. He will be dearly missed.”

Cameron also played as Luke Ross in Jessie, a comedy series. He was also seen in “Grown Ups”, he was one of the children of Adam Sandler.

Boyce started his acting career when he was just 9-year-old, his first movie, Mirrors, was released in 2008.

Cameron Boyce was born and raised in Los Angeles and was often called as an “old soul” by the people who knew him.

The Disney channel says, “His love of performing began in a dance studio, which then transitioned him into commercials, and not long after television and film.”

When Boyce turned 19, he was “already a veteran to show business,” Disney says.
