After the tiresome waiting of 17 years, this Indian woman has finally bagged the Miss World title and this certainly is a landmark achievement for India in 2017. The 20-Year-Old Haryanvi woman Manisha Chhillar has taken the mainstream media by storm by winning the prestigious and pivotal title all the way.
She has become the center of the spotlight within a fortnight. She undeniably is the topic of discussion in the whole country. She became the sixth woman from India. India won the title last in the year 2000 when Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra made a mark at the event.
This time, the event was held at Sanya City Arena, in China. Manushi was crowned by Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016 from Puerto Rico. Manushi competed against 118 contestants who represented their nations.
We must know that this competition is not all about the outlook, contestants were asked certain tricky questions and their chances of winning the crown depends mostly on the same.
From a regular college student to getting crowned Miss World, Manushi Chhillar’s journey is a dream for many Indian girls. The 20-year-old, who was studying to become a doctor, is a world-famous personality today.
After all the merit she garnered, this journey of her is definitely not a cakewalk for a person of such a young age. Manushi reportedly bid adieu to her medical studies for one year, just for the sake of crown. Despite that, it is the medical process she underwent which affected her life in all possible ways.
Recent reports from the sources close to Manushi, her dentist has said that he took 2 month’s time to make Manushi’s smile good. Not only this, she had to prepare many ways to become a Miss World, including her diet plan, modeling training, face, body etc.
Well, along with the grace she wore at the event, her answer for the crown has concreted the position as the Miss World 2017.
