Legal Suit Filed Against Raabta For Copying The Story Of Telugu Movie ‘Magadheera’, Sushant Singh Rajput And Kriti Sanon In Trouble
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon‘s starrer ‘Raabta’ is all set to hit the big screen on the 9th of June. The movie has already earned enough craze with the spellbound trailer and songs. As this is the movie of Sushant following his last year’s epic biopic ‘MS Dhoni‘, the levels of curiosity have doubled. And what all matters is the story and the technical aspects of the movie just to its release.
As of now, Raabta is definitely one of the most awaited movies of this year. Firstly, it brings alleged couple Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput on the big screen for the very first time. And secondly, it is set against the backdrop of reincarnation about which Indians are always curious about.

Raabta is directed by the popular producer Dinesh Vijan, who is making his directorial debut with this one. The film also has a cameo by Rajkummar Rao, who plays the role of a 324-year-old king of a tribe.
We all know that the trailer was released back in April, the characterization, graphics, and technical aspects looked quite promising and it was received well by critics and masses. But, what surprises everything is, the story line and plots according to the trailer which is exactly resembling that of SS Rajamouli’s 2008 released ‘Magadheera’.
Earlier when asked about these similarities, the lead actor Sushant has dismissed the opinions saying:
“It is not a cliched reincarnation story. It’s a very modern take. There is a hero, heroine, a villain and they’re born again. I can make ten different films right now on paper which will have two brothers and a mother and the brothers are born again. It doesn’t mean that it’s Karan Arjun.”
On the other side, it appears like the makers of Magadheera aren’t quite happy with Sushant, the went forward filing a legal suit against the producers of Raabta.
Regarding this news, the popular Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted has tweeted:
