Undoubtedly Deepika Padukone is the reigning queen of Bollywood industry right now. But it was her efforts that brought her the success and the glory she’s enjoying now. Deepika Padukone is the daughter of badminton star Prakash Padukone. Her life was all about badminton and studies when she was young but later called it quits with her graduation and focused completely on modeling which changed the course of her life.

Deepika Padukone started as a background model in her career and she was spotted as a background model with Fardeen Khan who had a successful career back them at the time of the promotions of his movie “No Entry.” But the biggest irony in life is that you’ll never know where time will take you in future. Right now Deepika is slaying in the Bollywood industry and Fardeen is nowhere to be found in the B-town.

Deepika Padukone was in a live-in relationship with her classmate in the acting school. They met in 2005 at her acting school and Deepika used to stay at Nihal’s place during her struggling days. She featured in Himesh Reshammiya’s “Naam Hai Tera” music video.

Deepika’s struggle came to end after she was spotted by Farah Khan for the film “Om Shanti Om” opposite Shahrukh Khan. Deepika’s life took a completely different route when the film was released. She started receiving offers for various films. Deepika played a dual role in her debut film and received a Filmfare as a best female debutant.

Deepika had many ups and downs in her professional as well as personal life. She was going through a rough patch where her films were not doing well in the industry and her boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor cheated on her with Katrina Kaif, This pushed Deepika Padukone into depression.

Deepika conquered her depression and she doesn’t feel shy talking about the same. Deepika started being vocal about the need in the Indian society to start openly talking about depression and other psychological issues.

She later met Ranveer Singh during her shooting for the film “Ram-Leela” and they were inseparable ever since. We can clearly see the way how Ranveer gushes about Deepika Padukone and the actress does the same. She recently commented on a picture of Ranveer Singh saying “Mine” and later deleted the same.

The duo recently worked in “Padmavat.” Rumors have that Ranveer and Deepika are soon going to get hitched and that they have also started their wedding preparations.
