Fukrey Returns, a sequel to 2013 comedy film Fukrey released on 8th December 2017. The movie is released over 1200 screens. Fukrey Returns received mixed reviews from the audience. The film stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The movie has registered an occupancy of 15 percent on its opening day. The prequel, Fukrey [2013] had seen Rs. 2.60 crore coming on its first day. It is interesting to note that Fukrey Returns has managed to secure a much better opening in the Northern belt with occupancy rate being pegged at 30%.

Fukrey Returns is the story of the 4 Fukras, their craziness and madness. The first installment ended with Bholi Punjaban (Richa Chadha) behind the bars. But brace yourself because the ‘lady don’ is back again for her revenge from the Fukreys, Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), Zafar (Ali Zafar), Lali (Manjot Singh).

Fukrey Returns Total Collections:

The film is expected to collect around Rs 5 cr on day 1.  As per the latest box office figures shared by trade guru Taran Adarsh, the film remains a strong draw. “#FukreyReturns is simply UNSTOPPABLE… EXCELLENT hold on Tue [almost at par with Mon biz]… Fri 8.10 cr, Sat 11.30 cr, Sun 12.80 cr, Mon 5.10 cr, Tue 5.05 cr. Total: ₹ 42.35 cr. India biz,” tweeted Taran.
