Here’s Everything ‘Mahavir Singh Phogat’ Has Earned After The Grand Success Of ‘Dangal’

2016 was a year of experiments, messages, and some intrigue Bollywood masterpieces like Pink, Neerja, MS Dhoni, Aligarh, Udta Punjab and the spellbound record banger ‘Dangal’. All the above movies are surprisingly the biopics.

Every movie successfully left its impression on stereotypic audience taking the dignity of the Indian films to the whole new level. Putting aside the film and its box office collections, let us check in into the life of the real hero ‘Mahavir Singh Phogat’, the character behind the reel life ‘Dangal’ movie.

Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan gave his graceful performance with this movie, his surprising transformations and curious body language left no stones turned in the chapters of excellence.

Now, one doesn’t need any introduction of the numbers hit my Dangal, this movie most possibly broke every existing record summing up more than 600 crore rupees including overseas, domestic and everything.

What about the man based on whole life the movie is made of? Well! Mahavir Singh Phogat received a mere amount of Rs 80 Lakhs for the movie, which is absolutely very little stake.

Though the Phogat family has received a little amount of money, Mahavir Singh ended up spending a part of that money in buying high yielding buffaloes, as the whole family is full of wrestlers.

Milk products constitute an integral part of their daily diet as the Phogat family don’t eat Non-vegetarian food. In addition to the buffaloes, Mahavir is all set to invest some more of his money in setting up an academy in his village in Balali, Haryana is on the table too.

“We will talk to the government in this regard, let’s see how things work out,” said Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Isn’t that quite modest and balanced? Hope Mahavir Singh Ji will gift us many more gems for India’s wrestling future.
