Jannat 2 actress Esha Gupta is currently trending for her engagement with the famous designer Nikhil Thampi. She recently posted a cozy picture where Nikhil was hugging from behind and she wrote “@nikhilthampi m ready..cmon now,” followed by a ring emoticon, a laugh, and a heart. Seeing this, people started speculating about their relation. some even went ahead and congratulated the actress for her engagement with the star designer.

Esha also went ahead and wished alleged beau, good luck in a comment “All the best for today boyfriend @nikhilthampi” with a heart emoticon. When Esha started calling Nikhil her boyfriend, media contemplated that Esha and Nikhil were in a relationship as this isn’t the first time they started uploading some cute pictures together.

Even during the valentines day, she posted a picture with a caption stating that “He asked me to be his valentine… I said yes cus he’s cute.. #bestdateever ❤️ #bestfriendgoals”

But there isn’t an ounce of truth in these wedding rumors. When Nikhil Thampi’s publicist was called to ask about the designer’s wedding plans with Esha, the publicist laughed off by saying they are good friends and says they aren’t engaged.

“Nikhil and Esha are not engaged. They are just friends and they keep having fun with each other on social media. There is nothing else to it,” says the publicist.

Another source revealed that “They keep passing such jokes even while they are shooting”

Though Esha Instagram posts might be misleading to the fans, it is being heard that is the kind of bonding they have. Don’t get surprised if you next see Esha posting them as a couple.

Esha was last seen in the movie Baadshaho alongside Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’cruz, Emraan Hashmi. She currently has the movies “Paltan” and “Devil’s Daughter” in her bag. Esha is often criticised for her bold photoshoots and posts on her social media handles.

The 32-year old actress is highly unapologetic about her work and feels that when you have it, you have the right to flaunt it as long as you’re comfortable. Esha even feels that she’s an actress and has the right to express herself and was seen speaking about the same at various events.
