Irrfan Khan Battling Cancer Returns To India For Shooting Hindi Medium 2

Irrfan Khan who was diagnosed with cancer went to London to take medical treatment for the neuroendocrine tumor that was found inside him, in recent reports said that Irrfan Khan has returned in India. Irrfan flew to London last year after he announced that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Irrfan Khan is now 51-years-old is set to start the shooting fir the sequel of Hindi Medium, the reports also said that he will continue his treatment at a known hospital in Mumbai City.

A reliable source said: “Irrfan is back in Mumbai. But people are publishing all sorts of stories without any confirmation. They are not true,” adding that Hindi Medium 2 is definitely on the cards, “but not sure when the shooting will start.”

The Source added: “I will get an update on his health and when will he be resuming work when I meet the actor soon.”

Hindi Medium was released in 2017, the movie starred Irrfan Khan and Pakistani Actress Saba Qamar, the movie released a lot of critical acclaims. Dinesh Vijan the producer is set to announce an update, he said: “I will make an official announcement about the film in a fortnight.”

Even if Irrfan Khan was in London for his medical treatment, he continued to share his health updates for his fans on Twitter. In a recent interview, he also shared how it felt like to go through chemotherapy.

Last year, in November it was said that Irrfan Khan will return to India to celebrate Diwali with his family, and it also said that he will only visit his family and will not shoot movies.

The Hindi Medium 2 is a biopic on Udham Sing, the movie will be directed by Shoojit Sircar, this is one of the pending projects of Irrfan Khan. He also has a movie with Deepika Padukone that is going to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj but according to reports it has been postponed. He also opted out from Gormint a web series of Amazon. His last movie was Karwaan which was released while he was in London for his medical treatment.
