Sridevi’s untimely death has left a void in the entire film fraternity in India. On February 25, the country woke up to the shocking news of one of a legendary actress of Bollywood Sridevi’s death. Indian cinema lost the versatile actress and gems Sridevi who breathe her last in a family function in Dubai.
She was in Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding when she suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday night, leaving her family, fans, and Bollywood in shock. While her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor accompanied Sridevi to the wedding in Dubai, Janhvi decided to stay behind in Mumbai to shoot for her debut film Dhadak.
Needless to say, last 10 days have been quite difficult for the Kapoor family, especially Sridevi’s daughters Khushi and Janhvi and husband Boney who never expected such an unfortunate happening just before 10 days of Janhvi’s 21st birthday. Janhvi and Khushi must be terribly missing their mother every minute and today.
We can feel how lonely she must be feeling on this special day as her mother is no more there with her. However, Janhvi decided to celebrate her birthday in an orphanage. Meanwhile, Kapoor family members and Bollywood fraternity took to micro-blogging sites to wish the star kid.
Janhvi’s rumored boyfriend Akshat Rajan took to Instagram to share a throwback photo to wish her on her birthday and captioned it, “Happy Birthday”.

It’s been a while she is believed to be dating him. Akshat has often been spotted in the company of Janhvi’s family. He also posted a photo with Sridevi and had captioned it, “a legacy of love and laughter”
Dhadak, an official remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat starring debutants Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar and directed by Nagraj Manjule. The Hindi version will also mark the launch of Ishaan Khatter, half-brother of superstar Shahid Kapoor in Bollywood. Dhadak directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar will release on July 6 this year.
