Comedian Kapil Sharma All Set To Make A Comeback ‘With A Bang’ To His Show
While it was Sunil Grover who has millions of fans on his back since the day-one of his career as the comedian in Kapil Sharma’s show, he has always been the topic of the town for his impeccable talent on the silver screen. With the standout roles like Dr. Gulati and Guthhi, he attracted millions of viewers, gained their attention and affections altogether.
We all know what has gone wrong with Kapil’s show since Sunil walked out, the ugly fiasco between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover has altered the fates of both, leaving Sunil in starting his individual shows and Kapil drone to medical imbalances.
In August, the channel had announced a “short break” with Kapil and his show. An official spokesperson from the channel had said then that since Kapil had been under the weather, they had “mutually agreed to take a short break”, and that they would start shooting again once he recovers completely.
Now, after a gap, Kapil Sharma is back with a bang on the small screen with his popular entertainer The Kapil Sharma Show soon. “Kapil will be back (on TV) very soon,” Danish Khan, Executive Vice President and Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, told.
“We are very fond of Kapil. We are even doing a promotional show (which will be televised) for his upcoming movie. We believe he has made a good movie and it’s going to be successful. Then, Kapil will be back with a bang on the channel,” Khan added.
The actor-comedian is currently in the midst of promoting his forthcoming Bollywood film Firangi. “His movie Firangi is releasing on November 24. We are very fond of Kapil. We are even doing a promotional show for his movie. We believe he has made a good movie and it’s going to be successful. Then, Kapil will be back with a bang on Sony,” Khan added.
For Kapil, it was an ’emotional moment’ when earlier this week he visited the set of Super Dancer Chapter 2 to promote his movie Firangi. It once used to be the set of The Kapil Sharma Show.
“It was a nostalgia trip for me to be on the sets of Super Dancer Chapter 2, which happened to be the set of The Kapil Sharma Show as well, where I used to welcome Bollywood celebrities, sports personalities, international artists, and many other well-known faces, it was my time as a guest,” Kapil said
