Kaun Banega Crorepati, television game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan aired on Sony TV reached 9th Season with new rules & lifelines. The popular game show has always made news for the prize money it offers and the present season to seems to have got its first crorepati. The KBC 2017, Ninth season was started on 28th August. Till now no contestant has become a crorepati by winning the prize money of 1 crore.

However, the new promo of the show is up and we see a contestant named Biresh Choudhary playing the 15th question, which is for Rs 1 crore. The Sony TV posted a 20-second video clip which reads “Kya #KBC ke manch ko milne wala hai uska pehla Crorepati? Jaanne ke liye dekhte rahiye #KBC Mon-Fri raat 9 baje sirf Sony par(Is #KBC stage all set to get its first Crorepati? To know watch #KBC Mon-Fri raat 9 pm only on Sony.@SrBachchan ).”

Also, the promo also showed that the contestant is left with no lifeline and thus will he risk his win or not is also the question. However, even if he does not manage that, then also he will have created history to become the first player to reach to this level. Fans of KBC are waiting to know this answer soon.

Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek will be sharing screen space in a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 with his Pro Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers as special guests.

KBC 2017 Season 9 New Rules:

The season introduced a 16 question format, where the first 10 questions are timed (45 seconds for the first five questions and 60 seconds for the following five questions). In order to play the 16th question, the contestant must give up all remaining lifelines and the right to walk away after answering the 10th question correctly.

The 50:50 lifeline replaced Double Dip and the Three Wise Men lifeline was replaced by the Plus One (from the United States version). Phone-a-Friend (now sponsored by Jio) introduced video calls. Of late, after the show started airing, there have been speculations about the registrations for the 9th season beginning again, given the fact that 19.8 million entries were received ever since the show was announced by Sony in 2017.
