Shahid Kapoor broke the hearts of millions of young ladies when he got married to Delhi-based Mira Kapoor. Ever since they got married Mira and Shahid are hitting the streets together and making us go jealous with their cuteness. From the gym to award shows, Mira is accompanying Shahid Kapoor always and even Shahid feels that Mira Kapoor is his lucky charm.

Recently when Shahid got a chance to bring his Bff to Neha Dhupia’s Bff with vogue, he brought his wife Mira who gave some candid answers and our hearts.

During the chat show, Mira was at her natural best and revealed a time where she had to throw Shahid out of the house for her daughter Misha. She opened up saying that Shahid used to work all night for the movie “Padmavat” which was a Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus. He ends up coming home in the morning and when he used to sleep, Misha would wake up and disturb him so she asked him to stay at a hotel instead.

She said,

“He (Shahid) would come home at 8 in the morning and wake up at 2 in the afternoon. I completely get that he needs silence during those hours because it has been a tough night, but Misha (their one-year-old daughter) is at her best at that point — wide awake and playful. Shahid wouldn’t say anything but I know it’s going to tire him and I know I can’t put too many restrictions on her either. That was getting to me at a point and that’s when I told him that I can’t take this anymore.”

Mira was recently avoided by the paparazzi where she went instead of Shahid Kapoor to take an award. Sources reveal that Mira attended the show instead of Shahid but no one went up to her to greet her. Even the stars who were seen at Shahid’s birthday bash didn’t greet Mira. They revealed that She sat for sometime after receiving the award and later left the show. Here’s what Mira said about being a star wife.

“The concept of the star wife is outdated. You can either brush it aside or give it importance. I am a wife, yes, and my husband is a star. If you wish to put the two together, you are going to get a star wife. I love him for who he is; I don’t care that he is an actor. It’s part of the package. I can’t say, I love you, but I don’t like your profession. Before I got married, it was easy to say ‘this one is like that’ or ‘so and so is that kind of a person’. Now, being on this side of the fence, it’s extremely difficult when I am scrutinized.”
