Manushi Chhillar Is Ready For Bollywood, But Wishes To Work Only With This Actor
After the tiresome waiting of 17 years, this Indian woman has finally bagged the Miss World title and this certainly is a landmark achievement for India in 2017. The 20-Year-Old Haryanvi woman Manisha Chhillar has taken the mainstream media by storm by winning the prestigious and pivotal title all the way.
She has become the center of the spotlight within a fortnight. She undeniably is the topic of discussion in the whole country. She became the sixth woman from India. India won the title last in the year 2000 when Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra made a mark at the event.
This time, the event was held at Sanya City Arena, in China. Manushi was crowned by Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016 from Puerto Rico. Manushi competed against 118 contestants who represented their nations.
Coming to the next steps of Manushi, she has already confirmed that she doesn’t want to step into Bollywood soon enough. But, she clearly has a name in her mind to collaborate with if she ever makes a foray into the film industry. The 21-year-old beauty pageant winner revealed she wants to work with “perfectionist” Aamir Khan if she ever made a decision to enter the film industry.
While addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Manushi said, “If I get an offer, I would like to work in an Aamir Khan movie. The kind of roles they do is very interesting and challenging as well. I think his movies connect with the people in a positive manner.”
On a brief note, it is well known that the stats of Haryana in terms of women empowerment are par low, and there is almost less to nothing exposure for girls to come up with their dreams. Being a girl from Haryana, Manushi feels the recognition she has got would give a new ray of hope to the girls of her state.
“When people from your community do something good, it is very encouraging. Especially in a place like Haryana, where everyone presumes that women are looked down on upon, but now the map is changing. If you see the achievers of the state, most of them are women. I am really happy that women are looking at their women differently now. There was not much participation in beauty pageants from my state, but I think after this more girls will come up,” she said.
So, well, let us wait until Aamir knocks the doors of Manushi as she already gave a perfect cue from her side.
