#MeToo: Actress Mallika Dua Shares How She Was Sexually Harassed In Her Car, His Hands Went Everywhere Inside My Skirt

It’s a new way of raising voice against sexual harassment – ‘Me Too’ has gained momentum on social media. Women all over Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms are writing ‘Me Too”.

It started with actress Alyssa Milano tweeting a note saying “Suggested by a friend: “If all the women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote “Me too” as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem.” “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet,” she added.

Actress Alyssa Milano has sparked a huge outpouring with a simple Twitter request that women respond “me too” if they have been sexually assaulted or harassed.The hashtag, #MeToo, has been used more than 200,000 times since Sunday night.

The intensity and breadth of the response underscored how the problem extends well beyond the rich and famous, affecting the everyday lives of women around the world. Joining the ‘Me Too’ clan, the latest in the line is actress-comedian Mallika Dua. She took to Instagram and Facebook to share a heart-breaking incident.

“Me too … in my own car. My mother was driving while he sat at the back with his hand under my skirt the whole time. I was 7. My sister was 11. His hands went everywhere inside my skirt and on my sister’s back. My father who was in a different car dislocated the bastard’s jaw with his bare hands later that night,” she wrote.

But she did not reveal the anything about the culprit.

Bollywood actresses like Sonam Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin had also spoken about how they were molested when they were kids. “I have been molested when I was younger and it’s traumatizing,” said an emotional Sonam.
